On June, 06, 2006, State Institute of Hotel Management, Raipur was registered as a society and established by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and Govt. of Chhattisgarh. We have been at the forefront of nurturing hospitality professionals for over three years.

From 9th September, 2020, the institute is affiliated and functioning under the aegis of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida, (NCHMCT) an Apex Body set up by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. State Institute of Hotel Management, Raipur offers Three Years Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programs in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, along with Diploma Courses in Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, and Housekeeping Operations.One of the most significant developments is that the B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, with an optional 4th year for a B.Sc. Honors Program will be confered by the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, from the academic session 2023-26.
